Beauregard Tromp

Beauregard is convenor of the Wits Centre for Journalism’s African Investigative Journalism Conference, the largest gathering of journalists in Africa. Prior to this role he was Africa Editor at OCCRP, a cross border investigative journalism organisation. His personal awards include being chosen as a Nieman Fellow, winning the CNN/Multichoice African Print Journalist of the Year Award and being named South African Journalist of the Year. He is a former deputy editor at the Mail & Guardian and has worked at various titles, primarily in print/online.
