The Wits Radio Academy offers courses both at postgraduate level as well as NQF 6 level. The latter are specially geared for the needs of people working in community radio, although students from other sectors have also found them valuable.

Our teaching aims to develop practical skills in a range of relevant areas, while also encouraging students to think critically about radio as a medium. The courses can be taken individually, in which case a certificate for that specific course will be issued on successful completion or taken as a credit towards either the Advanced Radio Certificate or a postgraduate degree.
