Aarti Bhana
Web and Communications Officer
Aarti Bhana joined the Wits Centre for Journalism as the Web and Communications Officer in February 2022. She is responsible for keeping the Journalism.co.za website up to date with news and information for academics while also marketing courses and events hosted by the Wits Centre for Journalism on various platforms, including the newsletter, Twitter and Facebook.
She worked as a journalist at Bloomberg, Moneyweb and explain.co.za where she was a researcher and the head writer of the company’s flagship, award-winning product, The Wrap. She is also a freelance ghostwriter and co-runs Humans of South Africa.
