The Sol Plaatje Institute (SPI) for Media Leadership at Rhodes University in South Africa is delighted to formally invite academics in the African continent to the summit of the World Media Economics and Management Conference (WMEMC), which will take place in Cape Town from 6-9 May 2018.
We would like to offer African academics a special reduced registration rate of R2000.00 from 15 February to 15 March 2018. We invite academics to capitalise on this rare opportunity to attend this historic media management summit at their doorstep.
The 2018 summit is themed “Media Management in the Age of Tech Giants: Collaboration or Co-opetition? “ and will be held in Africa for the first time in nearly 30 years since the founding of the WMEMC, the largest global organization for world-leading scholars of media business and media management whose mandate is to examine contemporary issues that affect media firms.
