In a developing country like South Africa agriculture plays an important role. We need the farming industry to fulfil day-to-day needs, from maize meal to cotton.

In this show we are joined by Motlatjo Makaepea from the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. He is the Director of Research and Technology Development and discusses the true impact of the government on farming and how to involve young people.

Stellenbosch University lecturer from the Agricultural Economics Department, Mr Jan Greyling, informs us of the contribution of the climate and environment on agriculture and how that influences the economy.

Our financial expert Ken Swettenham starts off the show with the Business Wrap as he discusses retail prices.

For our 60 Second Corporate Sell Jason Davies, Head of Leadership, Learning, Talent and Resourcing at Absa speaks about the broad internship opportunities Absa has to offer graduates and final year students.

This episode of the Business Buzz is presented by Onkemetse Seremo and produced by Eric Mbulaheni Maphumbude and Khazimuliswa Ndlovu. The Executive producer is Elna Schütz, and technical producer is Kutlwano Serame.
